Ozz is now 6, and becoming more of a lunatic at each show instead of settling down. When he is focused and we work as a team, he does well, but that is few and far between. We did not do well in the Agility or Dog Jumping (I think all three rounds we eliminated), but he got the tunneling right (although we were not placed).
Sparkle (4 years old) ) listens to me so nicely and is such a good girl, easy to jump, but she is small so she sometimes knocks a bar as the jumps in Agility are very high for her. We did not have any clear rounds, but we got a 2nd place in the Contact Agility Grade 2 round (just the last bar down), and a third place in the Dog Jumping Grade 5.
Glitz at two years old is still really inexperienced in the ring, but I love working with her. She's an awesome little girl. Again, no clears in Agility or Dog Jumping, but we competed in Advanced Tunneling, and she came 1st! So proud of her. Here's Glitz doing her Tunneling:
Swish is only 8 months old, and he has never seen more than one tunnel at a time, and was a last-minute entry into Beginners Tunneling yesterday. Well, he went so well, and came third against lots of other dogs, all except 1 much older than him. So proud of this little boy - he is so much fun. Here he is in his first time ever in the ring - I think it is a very good, positive experience for a pup instead of a serious show the first time. I wish we did this more often:
Glitz, Swish and Sparkle with their winnings for the day (Ozz promises me the next show he will also be in the placings):
